Cast from your phone
The simplest route. Open the title on your phone, press Watch now, choose the service, and cast from that service's app to the television. The picture goes to the screen, your phone becomes the remote, and MyFlixer's My List stays open in your hand for the next episode.
Open MyFlixer on the television itself
Fire TV, Android TV, Google TV and most smart TVs have a browser, and MyFlixer works in it: the layout widens to eight posters across, the cards stay readable from the sofa, and My List is one press away. Typing with a remote is slow, so build your list on your phone during the day and open My List on the television at night.
Apple TV and Chromecast with Google TV
Both carry the streaming services as apps. Use MyFlixer to pick the title and see which service has it in your country, then open that app on the box. AirPlay from an iPhone works the same way as casting from Android.
PlayStation and Xbox
Both consoles run the streaming apps. Decide on MyFlixer, note the service, and open it on the console. Episode tracking is the useful part here: mark where you stopped on your phone and the console session starts at the right place.
Casting tips
The cast icon you want is the one inside the service's app. If a title greys out on one service, the same title usually casts from another that carries it, and Watch now lists every one for your country.
